Cooley Acutely Curved Clamp angled shanks, jaws calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals, 6-1/2" (16.5 cm) Cooley Acutely Curved Clamp is designed for use in cardiothoracic surgeries. This instrument is designed to clamp vessels to reduce or completely block blood flow during surgery to allow the procedure to continue in a certain anatomical location where the blood is no longer able to flow through. These clamps feature an angled shanks as well as jaws calibrate at 5 mm intervals. Additionally, this instrument is available in three sizes: small, medium and large to accommodate a variety of patient sizes and a the wide variety of vessels that this clamp can be used on.

Additionally, this clamp features a slightly looped, u-shaped clamp to provide optimal gripping capacity but also maintaining that hold consistently throughout the procedure.

This clamp is ideal for use when there is a surgical maneuver that requires exclusion of a specific portion of the vessel. The unique design of this clamp with the slightly angled shanks allows for this clamp to effectively reach and clamp off the aorta when other instruments may not be able to. Additionally, this instrument is available in three different jaw sizes: extra small, small and large making it well suited for a number of different vessel sizes but also in different levels of blood flow restriction.

Cooley Pediatric Clamp delicate clamp, jaws calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals, 5-1/2" (14.0 cm) Cooley Pediatric Clamp is ideally suited for clamping in cardiothoracic surgical procedures with pediatric patients. This clamp features jaws that are calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals but are still delicate enough for use in pediatric surgeries. This instrument is designed to keep a firm hold on the vessels that are being occluded but delicate enough not to bruise or tear the vessels thus reducing the amount of damage done to the patient. This clamp is available in a number of different styles that include straight or angled shanks and straight, satinsky, angled, or spoon-shaped jaws making this instrument highly versatile and useful in the operating room.
