Sternal Retractors – Stainless Steel

Atrial Valve Retractor Cooley Atrial Valve Retractor is a uniquely designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This instrument is used particularly for atrial valve retraction and is perfectly suited to do so because of its bulb shaped handle for firm handling and angled head piece to allow manipulation while leaving the surgical field accessible. This instrument is available in three sizes: small, medium and large all of which are for a right sided approach. A left sided approach instrument is also available to accommodate a variety of surgical uses.

Sternal Retractors - Aluminum aluminum arms & blades, ratchet bar stainless steel Cooley Sternal Retractors are ideally used during cardiothoracic procedures to help create and maintain a sufficient opening in the sternum to allow comfortable access to the surgical field. This instrument comes equipped with aluminum arms and blades as well as a stainless steel ratchet bar. This sternal retractor comes in a variety of different sizes to accommodate neonatal, newborn, infant and pediatric cases.

Rib Spreader w/ traditional curved arms Finchietto Rib Spreader is designed with traditional curved arms. This instrument is ideally used in cardiothoracic surgeries to create and maintain a space between the ribs to allow clear access to the surgical field. These spreaders come with a traditional slight curvature to the arms giving them a contour that allows a more secure fit and hold. Additionally, this instrument is available in three sizes with varying spread 6", 8" and 10".

Pediatric Rib Spreader arms & blades aluminum, ratchet bar stainless steel, spread: 3-7/8" (9.8 cm); arm length: 3-1/8" (7.9 cm); blades: 1-3/16" x 1-1/16" deep (3 x 2.7 cm) Haight-Finochietto Pediatric Rib Spreader is designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This instrument is best used when more access is needed below the ribs and functions to create and maintain adequate access to the surgical field. This rib spreader has two arms, one of which can be adjusted to create the best fitting spread distance, as well as windowed blades to maintain uniform pressure over a larger surface area to reduce strain on the patient.
